Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ur-ed.com and UR ED's related services (the "Service"), operated by UR ED ("we", "us", "our"), based in Morocco. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

UR ED helps high school students explore and choose a career path through a personalized major-assessment quiz, hands-on learning programs and courses, gamified progress tracking, in-person and online events, a blog/community area, and a shop selling physical learning kits related to featured majors.

2. Eligibility & Minors

UR ED is designed for high school students, many of whom are minors under the law of their country of residence. If you are under the age of legal majority:

• You should only use the Service with the awareness and, where required by local law, the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• A parent or guardian may create or help manage the account, register the student for paid plans or events, and is responsible for any purchases made on the account.
• Parents/guardians may contact us at hello@ur-ed.com at any time to review, adjust, or close a minor's account.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet these conditions, or that a parent or guardian has authorized your use of the Service.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@ur-ed.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription Plans

UR ED offers a free plan and paid plans (Basic, Medium, and Premium), billed for a fixed monthly or annual period that you select at checkout. Plans unlock access to specific programs, course libraries, event discounts, and other benefits described on our Pricing page at the time of purchase.

• Paid plans grant access for the period you purchased (one month or one year) and do not automatically renew or automatically charge you again — you choose to purchase a new period when your current one ends.
• Plan features and pricing may change over time; changes apply to new purchases going forward.

5. Events

Some events require payment and registration through the Service. Your registration is confirmed once payment is verified. Event details (date, format, capacity) are described on the event page at the time of registration and may change; we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees of material changes. 6. Physical Products (Kit Orders)

When you order a physical learning kit, you agree to provide accurate shipping information. Risk of loss and title to products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. See our Refund & Return Policy for returns and exchanges.

7. Gamification & Virtual Items

XP, streaks, hearts, badges, and leaderboard standings are for engagement and motivation only. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts, and may be adjusted or reset by us at any time (for example, to correct errors or prevent abuse).

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (such as blog comments, posts, or quiz answers). By submitting content, you grant UR ED a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes on others' rights.

9. Prohibited Conduct

• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Uploading malicious code or attempting to disrupt the Service.
• Using automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our permission.
• Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the Service without our written consent.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its courses, quizzes, learning materials, branding, and software, is owned by UR ED or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as intended, no rights are granted to you in our content or trademarks.

11. Disclaimers

The Service, including major/career recommendations, is provided for informational and educational purposes and does not guarantee any particular academic, career, or admissions outcome. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UR ED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account closure at any time by contacting hello@ur-ed.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated to you, for example by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
